卡到手后等不到激活短信——官方流程里本来就没有这一步，判断依据是手机出现信号格和网络名。看完你会知道线上激活要填的一次性验证码和 SIM 序列号、首次充值、取消自动扣款的 22:00 时限、eSIM 二维码一次性使用，以及官方没有写明的地方（例如首次激活是否必须人在英国）。

这篇只回答一件事：卡已经到手（实体 SIM 或 eSIM）之后，怎么把它真正开通并用起来。

开通前的官方前置要求

手机解锁：官方《Pre-service Information》原文 If you're ordering just a SIM from EE, you'll need a compatible device for EE mobile and your device may need unlocking。注意官方用的是 may need（可能需要），不是必须。如果手机还绑定在上一家运营商，需要先解锁才能用 EE 卡。[S0]

官方资料没有说明 EE 是否提供 SIM 锁自助检测工具，解锁政策请向原运营商确认。

eSIM 的硬性前提是设备支持 eSIM。官方自检方法原文：The quickest way to check that your device supports eSIM is to dial *#06#… If your device is eSIM compatible, it will show an EID。能看到 EID 即支持。[S2]

官方另要求设置前准备好环境：Make sure any device you're setting up for an eSIM is connected to WiFi or mobile data, has the latest software, and has plenty of battery。[S2]

官方 eSIM 帮助页给出了 Apple、Samsung、Google Pixel、HONOR、Motorola、Nokia、OnePlus、Oppo、Sony、Xiaomi 等品牌的机型兼容清单入口。具体型号清单会随新机发布变动，请直接用官方页面核对自己的型号。官方资料没有说明非英国市场版本的机型（例如从中国大陆带来的国行机）能否正常激活 EE eSIM，不确定时请联系 EE 官方客服确认。[S2]

实体 SIM 开卡流程

第一步：从信封里把 SIM 取出来，不要剪碎。第四步激活要填卡托上印的 SIM 序列号，抠卡前先拍照保存。

第二步：插入手机卡槽。第三步：开机看有没有信号。

第四步：在官方激活入口完成线上激活。官方原文：Activate your new SIM online. We'll send you a one-time code, then you'll need to enter your SIM's serial number。也就是先收一次性验证码，再填印在卡托上的 SIM 序列号——填的不是 Activation Code，也不是 ICCID。[S5]

第五步：完成首次充值。官方充值帮助页给出的路径原文：Select Manage your plan. Select Top Up. Choose how much you want to top up by - between £5-95. Select Continue to payment。[S3]

充值多久生效：条款原文 We'll apply the top up to Your Account as a Credit within 24 hours；帮助页补充 We'll always confirm when a top up is successful. If your credit hasn't updated within 24 hours, call us。[S1][S3]

一个会吓到人的小细节：银行账单上这笔扣款显示为 Vesta EE Top Up，不是 EE。官方原文：Vesta, our trusted payment partner, manages payments. On your bank or credit card statement, your payment will appear as Vesta EE Top Up。[S4]

第六步：看到信号格和 EE 网络名即激活完成。官方明说不会发激活短信，原文 You won't get an activation text, just a few network updates，判断依据是 Wait for signal bars and the EE network name to appear on your screen. It can take up to 24 hours, but it's usually much faster。所以不要等短信；超过 24 小时仍无信号再联系客服。[S5]

官方对「激活」的定义

EE《Pay As You Go Network Terms and Conditions》第 2.1 条原文：You are deemed to accept these conditions when Your Account is first credited, or You otherwise use Your SIM to access the Network。[S1]

也就是官方定义里的激活等于账户首次入账或首次使用 SIM 联网。没有完成首次充值或首次联网，就不会被认定为激活，因此第一次打电话或开热点之前必须先充值。[S1][S3]

eSIM 完整安装步骤

官方列出三种获取方式：新 Pay Monthly 手机预装（PAYG 用户一般用不到）、下单 SIM only 计划时选 eSIM 并 download it straight away through the EE app、以及邮寄 QR pack 后扫码激活。[S2]

从 EE App 下载（适用于换新手机、误删 eSIM、手机丢失等场景）：EE App → Manage → Mobile and SIMs → Check Settings → Replace my SIM/eSIM。[S2]

有 QR pack 或跳过了开机设置里的 SIM 步骤（Android）：设置 → Network and Internet → SIMs → Download a new eSIM。[S2]

同一台手机把实体卡转成 eSIM（Android）：设置 → Network and Internet → 选当前 SIM → Convert your SIM to eSIM。Android 换 Android 可以用 Android 开机设置迁移：两台手机放在一起、开 WiFi 和蓝牙，按屏幕提示操作。[S2]

几条必须知道的官方规则：QR 码只能用一次（You can only use a QR code to download an eSIM once）；eSIM 不能拔出来换机用（Your eSIM can't be taken out and used in another device），换机要在 EE App 里重新下载；一台手机放多张 eSIM 时每张需要单独的 plan 和号码；装好 eSIM 后旧实体卡可以丢弃。[S2]

官方资料没有说明 PAYG 新用户的 eSIM 是否必须先充值才能下载和激活，也没有说明激活后是否有短信通知。请联系 EE 官方客服确认。

怎么查自己的号码和余额

查号码和查余额是两条不同的短信指令。官方短信服务对照表原文：What's my number? — NUMBER；Info on your remaining credit, allowances, plans, add-ons or free boosts — BALANCE。也就是发 NUMBER 到 150 查号码，发 BALANCE 到 150 查余额，BALANCE 的回复里不含号码。[S3]

官方另有一页把查号途径列全：How do I find my phone number? It's easy. Just do one of the following: text NUMBER to 150 / check your SIM packaging / go to your device settings / log in to EE。[S3]

费用：官方原文 All texts sent to and from 150 are free of charge, whether you're in the UK or EU。[S3]

查余额也可以用 EE App，官方原文 You can check your balance in the EE app or by texting BALANCE to 150。[S3]

有 7/14/30/90-Day Plan 时查余额能看到套餐剩余量，只充 Credit 没有 Plan 时只能看到金额。官方确认 App 里流量额度是单独展示的：Track your data in the EE app, where your data allowances are shown separately。短信侧则是一条 BALANCE 指令同时返回 Credit 余额与套餐额度。[S3]

变更或取消自动扣款：注意 22:00 这条时限

官方帮助页原文：You can change or cancel recurring top ups in the EE app, your online account or: Call 150 / Text STOP REC to 150。[S3]

短信指令必须从本机发出，官方原文 Text STOP PLAN to 150 from your EE mobile；往返 150 的短信免费。[S3]

这里有一条会让人白被扣款的硬性时限。官方条款原文：If You want to cancel Your continuous payment authority, You'll have to let us know by 22.00 on the day before we're due to take Your payment。也就是取消要赶在扣款日前一天晚上 10 点之前。[S4]

同页另明确：We'll keep taking your recurring top-up until you tell us to stop。停晚了这一期照扣，且官方只在有限情形下受理退款。[S3][S4]

官方资料没有说明发出 STOP REC 后是否会收到确认短信，以及生效是即时还是到下一个扣款周期。按条款侧的 22:00 时限安排最稳妥。

APN 参数要不要手填

EE 有官方 APN 帮助页，但它不直接给参数值，而是给获取方式。三条关键原文：All devices supplied by EE already have the correct APN settings；Apple iPhone: You're unable to change iPhone APN settings. These are managed by our network team via automatic updates；You can download the correct settings and steps to follow for your device from this EE setup page. Select your phone's manufacturer / Select your phone / Enter your phone number, select Next. You should shortly receive service settings by text including a PIN。[S6]

对带手机落地的人：iPhone 用户改不了也不用改；Android 若插卡后提示 APN 未设置，走官方机型页让 EE 把设置短信推给你，收到后在通知栏打开 Configuration 消息、输入 PIN 安装。[S6]

双卡机另需在手机的 SIM 卡管理设置里，把行动数据的首选 SIM 指到 EE 这张。

开通后值得顺手设好的项

5G：EE PAYG 没有单独的 5G 开关。官方给的是三个前提条件，原文 What you'll need — a 5G-compatible phone / to be in a 5G coverage area, use our coverage checker / have a current plan。条件满足即自动使用。[S10]

但有一条限速要注意，官方原文：Customers joining EE on a Pay As You Go Plan from 10th March 2023 will have speeds capped at 25Mbps。这与是否 5G 无关。[S0][S10]

数据加油包：没有 Plan 但有余额时可以单独买数据包。官方给了两条入口，原文 Buy and manage add-ons — Buy, manage or remove add-ons, using the EE app or website，以及 By text — Send ADD DATA to 150 from your EE mobile for free to see your available data add-ons。发 ADD DATA 到 150 免费查当前可买的加油包，这是不开 App 也能用的办法。具体价格与档位随时间变动，本文不写。[S3]

激活失败怎么办

官方资料没有说明完整的激活故障排查清单（例如 SIM 序列号无效、激活页报错、设备兼容问题分别该怎么处理）。本文不替官方编造排查步骤。

官方明确写出的两条判断依据是：线上激活后 It can take up to 24 hours, but it's usually much faster，超过 24 小时仍无信号应联系客服；以及充值后 If your credit hasn't updated within 24 hours, call us。[S3][S5]
